Completing practical experience is an important part of veterinary education and our externship programme is a good way of benefiting from a diverse, busy practice such as ours.

Goulburn Valley Equine Hospital (GVEH) offers externship opportunities for senior veterinary students, recent graduates, young veterinarians and veterinarians undertaking residency or specialist training who are looking to broaden their knowledge and experience in equine practice.

Our externships provide the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience and exposure to a range of equine cases across both our Hospital and Reproduction Departments.

Externship duration can be tailored to suit individual study, clinical placement or training requirements. We welcome enthusiastic and hardworking individuals who are eager to learn, get involved and make the most of their time at GVEH.
